I bought the Indeed Labs Hydraluron Serum (£24.99) on the recommendation of Caroline
Hirons as she is thee most influential skincare specialist. I read her blog religiously
as I am desperate for the knowledge and I love her blunt attitude but I have to
say, I am beyond excited about her new YouTube channel.
My skin has been acting up recently, I
normally have oily skin but it been very dry and sometimes sore if I am being
100% honest. So when I read Carolines recommendation, I went along to my local
Boots and picked up a tube. At £24.99, it is a pricey little bugger so I really
hoped it would work.
Hydraluron contains Hyaluronic Acid
which is a hydrating agent that can reach the deep skin layers to boost the
skin's ability to moisture itself as well as minimizing the appearance of deep
wrinkles. It also contains Red Marin Algae which increases elasticity,
smoothness, cell turnover & firmness.

Over the last month I have been using
this in the AM and PM, as I wanted to give myself the proper time to use it and
experience it before jumping in with a review. One thing ive noticed is a
reduction in the little dry patches on my chin, jawline and cheeks so that is a
huge plus for me but I have to say, for the price I expected my skin to look and feel better than it did at the end of the 4 week trial. I was expecting it to look healthier and glowing but it didn’t.
I normally use this product after I have
cleansed my face with Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm (£38), I then use my Garnier Pure Active Toner (£2.75), apply Hydraluron and then my Nivea Crème Moisturiser (99p) to lock everything
in.
The product states it is a serum which
penetrates the skins surface and provides long-lasting hydration from beneath.
I don’t get that. As I said, I have noticed the little dry patches have
disappeared but without a heavy duty moisturiser that infuses more hydration, I
don’t think this would be the wonder serum it’s portrayed to be.
