My Favourite Perfumes At The Moment |
Hi guys,
I
thought I would put together a little post discussing my favourite perfumes at
the moment. I have been obsessed with perfume ever since I worked as a junior
colour technician in my old hairdressers. As you can imagine, all of us girls
wore different perfumes and they all varied in scent too as we ranged from
younger girls to older ladies. My favourite from then was always the Stella
McCartney, Stella and Hermes Un Jardine en Mediterranee which is a testament to
them as I am never without these in my collection as they are simply divine.
Hermes Un Jardine en Mediterranee (£82) is my
all-time favourite scent. This is so clean, fresh and instantly uplifting. When
I spray this, I feel like a very sophisticated woman who oozes confidence haha,
I don’t know why but it truly makes me feel better. The main ingredients are fig
tree, mastic tree and red cedar blend with bergamot, orange blossom and white
oleander. I think I have 1 or 2 sprays left in this little guy so hopefully I
can pick up some more this month as I am never without a bottle.
Stella McCartney, Stella (from £45) is one of the
first perfumes I actually bought myself. It has top notes of rose, peony and
mandarin essence; middle notes of rose absolute and base notes of amber. This
is a very strong smelling perfume and just makes me feel mature and sexy every
time I spray it.
Miss Dior (from £49) reminds me of romance and
I’m not gonna lie, I only wanted to try it because Natalie Portman was looking
stunning in the marketing campaigns. This is Liam’s favourite scent on me, he
says it smells like I have made an effort ha-ha, thanks baby!
I’m
not a huge Jo Malone fan, the horror! But it’s not my cup of tea. I think it’s
overpriced and most of the scents are not very nice at all but I do like Orange Blossom (£42). It’s not a scent for everyone,
you either love it or hate it. Half of my friends and family love it and the
other half hate it when I wear it so I would suggest heading into your local
store and trying it out.
Vera Wang Rock Princess (£19) is a very cute
scent. Its very fruity with a dark floral twist but I think this is more suited
to a younger audience, maybe teenagers to mid-twenties. I am obviously not in
that category but I do like a little spritz if im having a wee day out just
bumming about.
Stella McCartney Nude (from £42) is a beautiful
soft spicy floral scent with tones of rose, amber and citrus. This is a very
easy scent to wear for any occasion.
Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue (from £43) is a
classic for anyone who is round about my age. I remember smelling this and
instantly falling in love, hence the reason I still buy it to this day. It is
very fresh, crisp and clean smelling. Its girlie without the sickly sweetness
that normally comes with that statement. It has top notes of sicilian citron,
apples with jasmine, freesia, musk, amber.
Let
me know what your favourites are in the comments section below or if we share
any of the same fragrances.
