My Christmas Wish List
Hi guys,
I thought I
would put together my Christmas Wish List today. I haven’t been lusting after
many makeup items but I am all over home comforts this year such as bath products,
skincare, pyjamas and candles. I have added a few beauty items too so don’t worry.
This isn’t a huge expensive wish list, infact the majority of items are under
£30 so there’s something for everyone, even if it’s little stocking fillers for
that special someone in your life.

Life Update

Hi guys,
I thought I would just
check in with you all and give you a little run down. Its not going to be super
exciting cause I am one boring bastard but I thought I would do it anyway
ha-ha. I love Life Update posts, they are some of my favourites to read so here
is mine.
Firstly, I just got
back from Corfu on Saturday. I’m going to go in with
this one guys. I’m sorry. On the first night, I was a silly cow wasnt I and
fell down a flight of stairs! Sober as well! WHATS THAT ALL ABOUT? I only went
and damaged the ligaments in my ankle so you can imagine how painful it was to
even put pressure on never mind walk on it. I was pure looking forward to
walking for miles each day, having fun in the sea with Liam and checking out
some of the sights we left out last year but we had to stay on the private
decking area within our apartment which did become somewhat boring. Im not
whining, I know some people dont get to holiday every year and I am very lucky
to have gone away, but when you have been an idiot & ruined your
holiday from the very first day, your gonna have a bit of a moan arent you?
Don’t get me wrong, looking out to the sea was beautiful and because it was
private it was quiet plus it had stairs going straight into the sea but you
want to get out n about on holiday don’t you? I was raging with myself for not
looking where I was going that night, so the first few days I was a right moody
bitch and ended up snapping a few times at Liam but bless him, he just let me
rant and rave before filling up my wine glass more and more ha-ha. I’ve got a
keeper ladies!
The complex itself was
stunning. We stayed in the Galini Apartments in Messonghi, Corfu
which was right on the beach with the sea right at your doorstep. The weather
was intense, it never fell below 30 degrees so of course I had to drink as much
alcohol as my body would allow to keep me hydrated ha-ha. Also this helped
alleviate the pain. I would hang my head in shame at the amount of alcohol
consumed, but I’m not ashamed ha-ha. I enjoyed every minute of it. I did
also drink a lot of water but let’s not kid around, I was more interested in
the wine and vodka!
Private Decking Area
Moving on, as you know,
I joined Slimming World at the start of July
and have been so pleased with the results. In my first four weeks I lost 7lbs
which may not sound like a lot but I had a lot going on throughout July. I had
my sisters birthday meal, my birthday meal, my aunties 50th birthday
meal, my other aunties 60th drinking marathon and my
mums birthday meal so I am surprised I lost anything to be honest. Its nice
though, even though its only 7lbs, I can already feel the loss in my clothes
and see it in my face which is excellent. SW has been amazing, really cant
fault it at all. I have well and truly found my feet when it comes to the
eating plan as it’s very generous and I don’t feel like I am losing out on
anything. If I want an ice cream, chocolate bar or packet of crisps, then I
have them and add them to my syn count for that day which never goes over
15. Obviously I will have put on due to my holiday but I can easily get
back into it. UPDATE: I lost 1/2 lb which I am over the moon with considering I drank pretty much every day and had a lot of coffees & pastries as well as chips ha-ha.
As for fitness, I
bought a Fitbit Flex (£79.99) before I
went on holiday as I wanted something to count my steps throughout the day and
this had the best reviews. I am in awe at this little guy as it goes on like a
watch and counts each step taken. It also connects to your phone via Bluetooth,
keeps track of food & drinks as well as tracking your sleeping pattern. I
would highly recommend you get one of these as it’s amazing to see how many
steps you can take during the day.

As far as my little job
went, it kinda didn’t if I’m honest. From the interview I never should have
accepted the role. They said some things that had alarm bells going off with
regards to time off for exams, holidays and the fact they didn’t want me to
become accredited with an accounting association but I took it regardless and
hated it from the minute I stepped into the office. I cried every day I came
home from work, and I mean full on sobbing as it wasn't what I was used to at
all. Poor Liam had to console me every time he saw me and constantly told me to
quit if it made me that upset but I am not a quitter, especially when it comes
to my work but it was too much and I ended up leaving after 6 months. Even the
days leading up to me working were filled with anxiety which is not something I
suffer from usually but when my Uni work started to suffer, I knew it was time
to go. Even my lecturers noticed a difference in my work and attitude as it
really got me down with one actually taking me aside and asking if I had broken
up with Liam ha-ha because I looked terrible (Cheers Fiona!) I am not
going to butcher this small firm at all, especially not online or on this blog,
but I am glad I am away from it all to be honest as it wasn't my cup of
tea which was such a shame.
Achilleion Palace
Lastly, I still haven't
found a house for me and Liam to buy, I’m still not engaged and I’m still not
preggers but do you know what, I’m enjoying life just the way it is and
hopefully those things come with time. He better hurry up though as it’s been 8
years and I’m only getting older ha-ha.
Anyway, I’ve got my
first weigh in tonight with SW (shitting myself) but after that, I will
be buying a nice bottle of red, have a relaxing bath and chilling out with a
book tonight. I don’t know which one right enough so I will have a wee look and
see what tickles my fancy but I hope all is going well with you guys. Leave me
a comment below giving me a wee update or send me the link to your life update
as I love reading these posts.

Seven Tips To Help Fellow Bloggers
Hi
guys,
I thought I
would finally give my helpful tips when it comes to blogging. As you may or may
not know, I have been blogging for just over two years and I have loved every
moment of it. I don’t get sent a lot of products nor do I get asked to do
sponsored posts but that’s not what it is all about. Sure, I get sent the odd
product to review and I will always give my honest opinion on it as I feel that’s
an integral part of being a blogger but this post is just a few bits and pieces
to help you on your way. There are also a few f bombs so if you don't like that, I apologise but I am Scottish and it's like second nature to me. Its only to emphasised how I feel.
1. Comment
When you
receive a comment on a blog post, answer back! There are so many blogs that I
have commented on and no-one has replied back which I find to be a bit rude if
truth be told. I always answer people. I set aside a few hours every week and
go through them and answer every single one. Even if it's to say thank you. I know, if you have a lot of
comments, this may be difficult but if someone asks you a question, its common
courtesy to answer them.
The same can
be said for comments on social media. I have come across numerous accounts on
Instagram that have questions underneath their pictures, and I’m not talking
millions, I’m talking one or two and the person hasn't had the decency to give
them a response. Just tell them where the fuck you got your skirt Sonia! Again,
I can understand if you have thousands of comments but most of these accounts don’t
and they think they are fucking BeyoncĂ© and don’t have to answer. If you want
people to like what you are doing and become a fan of your work, treat them
right and give them a response to what shade of lipstick you are wearing in
that selfie that got eleven likes! I have a lot of comments that say “Great
Work, Wow, Fab Picture etc.” I don’t tend to answer these as I never know what
to say to them but if someone asks me a question, I will always respond.
2. Get
Involved
It is very
important to get involved in the blogging community. Everyone I have come
across in the big blogosphere have been great. I find everyone helps each other
out, they give tips and they generally just make you feel better if you are
feeling a little down about blogging or life. There are multiple chat nights on twitter where you can
talk to fellow bloggers who share the same interests as you. There are also
some very interesting questions that get asked so just get yourself in there
and answer as many as you can, like as many responses as you can and get
involved! Just go onto the hashtags and find the best ones for you. If you are
unsure, send a tweet out and use the hashtags ##bbloggers #bloggers #lbloggers
#fbloggers and someone will tell you the days and times these take place. It
also allows you to find new blogs that you may never have read before.
3. Blogger
Love
As I said,
it is imperative that you get involved in the blogging community. We really are
a lovely bunch! One thing I would recommend is to like posts that you have
read. Retweet the ones you love and ask questions or give advice wherever you
can. Do you know how happy it makes me when someone retweets or likes a post
that I have put good time and effort into! Just imagine brightening up someone’s
day, because trust me, it will.

4. Declining
or Accepting Opportunities
Once you
start out, you will start receiving emails from all different companies trying
to gain exposure through your blog. I have a blogger email post which you
can find here which
highlights some of these issues. If you choose to do any of these things, that
is absolutely fine but you don’t have to. If someone asks you to do a sponsored
post or review, you can say no if the product won’t fit with your blog, just be
polite when you decline the opportunity as there is nothing worse than a cheeky
response when someone wants to work with you. Georgina from She Might Be Loved
has a fantastic blog post all about Sponsored
Posts so check that out.
When it
comes to reviewing products, companies may send you a certain item from their
range and ask for a post on this. That's great if it fits with the theme of
your blog. If they ask you to review a product and then tweet out several
times, have more than one post and continue promoting the item, then I would
suggest asking for payment as this takes time and effort. It doesn’t have to be
a ridiculous amount of money, just something to tide you over if you are taking
time out of your day.
Some companies will ask you to promote something or put a post together talking about something they want to highlight. You won’t get anything in return for this unless you ask for payment as they are not promoting a particular product, it may be the fact they want you to come up with a post and link back to them. If they hit you with the whole "We don’t have that in the budget" then you can decline. They often tell you they will link your post on their website and you will gain exposure through them, but sometimes this isn’t enough! If you really want to work with them, then it’s your choice to say yes. I had a company ask me for three posts, several links to all different products and websites but I wasn't getting anything in return, not even a product to test and I’m sure you can agree, one post takes time to prepare never mind three. I politely declined.
Review whatever products you want as long as it will fit in with your blog. I personally blog about beauty but I like to throw in the odd recipe, book review, restaurant review or lifestyle post as I feel they are relevant to me and hopefully my readers like them.
5. Promote Your Work
Use hashtags on social media. I use #bbloggers #beauty and #bloggers the most as I am a beauty blogger but if you are a fashion blogger you may wish to use #fbloggers. If you are a lifestyle blogger then use #lblogger. I always include some retweet accounts on my tweets such as Daily Blogger UK, Female Blogger RT and Blogger Bees but there are loads out there to choose from.
6. Link Back
If you are rounding up your favourite products, lipsticks for instance but you have a review on some of these products, link back to the original post so people can see why you love it so much and then you only have to give a snippet of why its great in your favourites post. Most people will want to hear the pros and cons of this product before they buy.

7. The
last one is a simple one. Take time out if you need it. I know we all want to
keep on a schedule but if you are busy with work/school/university or running a
house then you may not have time to stick to it. Don’t stress yourself out. If
you take a couple of days away from your blog you may come up with several
ideas when you are busy with other things, write them down and get to work on
them when you can.
I hope you
have found this post to be helpful. It isn't a post to help you write posts or
how to deal with certain things but its things I think are very important. Let
me know if you do any of these things and if not, try and incorporate them into
your blogging routine and see how you get on.

Disappointing Beauty Products
Colab Paris Extreme Volume Dry Shampoo
Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes
Zoella Sweet Inspirations Double Creme
Magic Cosmetix Magic Tips
Hi guys,
After reading Allure of a Girl's guest post on Twenty Something Meltdown, I decided to carry out this blogpost. as it’s nice to take a break
from talking up the great products and discuss the ones that have disappointed me. I did one of these a few years ago and I
still stick by my views on those items but I have some more to throw into the
mix. You can’t like everything and a lot of these products you are going to
think, what the hell is she talking about, but it’s only my opinion. You may
love some of these but we are going to have to agree to disagree I’m afraid as
I thought they were pants.
1. Colab
Paris Extreme Volume Dry Shampoo (£4.49)
I had high hopes for this
little guy as everyone and their mother were raving about the Ruth Crilly
launch so I was keen to get my hands on it and see what all the fuss was about.
I hated this from the get go. I didn’t like the texture of my hair afterwards
and I didn’t like the fragrance either. I used this as I would any other dry
shampoo, I held it away from my hair and sprayed onto my roots by sectioning my
hair but it left my hair feeling sticky and unclean. I had slight volume but nothing worth raving about. This felt more like a
hairspray rather than a dry shampoo so for that reason it gets a thumbs down
from me.
I just couldn’t get to
grips with this at all. It didn’t do anything for me and it didn’t keep my
makeup in place nor did it "erase my pores". Not that I was expecting
it to. Instead it left a film over my skin which didn’t feel natural and its
texture was quite off putting when I began applying to my skin.
3. Magic
Cosmetix Magic Tips (£9.99)
These have been made for
those of us who like to use our fingers to apply makeup. They are silicon tips
which are supposed to feel skin like and smooth makeup on easily. I can
wholeheartedly disagree. These do not help anything smooth on my face, infact
they pull at the product which leaves it looking streaky and not applied
properly. I used this to apply concealer before buffing out with a concealer
brush but I had to go back in with the doe foot applicator as the product which
pretty much non-existent.
4. Eve Lom
Cleanser (£40)
I really wanted to like
this as it smelt fantastic and everyone raved about it. Vogue hailed it the "probably the best cleanser in the world" but I have to disagree. I liked how soft it made my skin feel (before the breakouts) and how it took off
makeup, don’t get me wrong. I also adored the scent but as far as good skincare
went, this was a nightmare. I was left with horrible spots all over my face. At
first I thought the skin was purging (although I don’t agree with that
statement) so I persisted but after a few weeks I had to stop as my skin was
sore to the touch. As soon as I stopped using this, my skin started to heal and thankfully,
its back to normal but I would never buy this again as my oily/sensitive skin
hated it. Maybe this would be better on dry/normal skin though.
5. Charlotte
Tilbury Full Fat Lashes (£22.99)
I really disliked this
mascara. It done absolutely nothing for my lashes and left me with black rings
round my eyes. I can handle a little seeping at the inner corners of my eyes
which can easily be removed but this little guy smudged all over my lower lash
line, above my eyes and at each corner. I looked like I had been
punched in the face which is not a look I go for when wearing mascara, I can
assure you. My eyelashes felt limp, there was no length,no separating, no curl and no volume. The only
good thing was the fact that my lashes looked black at the roots but that’s not enough for me, I need a mascara to create some fabulous eyelashes not little
black stumps!
I bought this off the
back of many reviews online and I am gutted that it didn’t work on me. It took
far too long to work into the skin, regardless of how much I used and left me
with white streaks up and down my body. I also woke up with the worst smell
coming from my skin when I wore this overnight after applying after a bath one
night. The smell was disgusting. I can safely say this has never happened with
any other body lotion, butter or cream I have used before going to sleep but
this was horrible. I also didn’t like the smell it left throughout the day, I can’t
quite explain it, but it was almost like a fusty smell, you know if you leave
wet clothes for too long and they carry that lingering smell. I thought it
actually was my clothes for a hot minute, but it wasn’t, it was this bloody cream.
That’s all I have today
guys. Just because I didn’t like these particular items doesn’t mean I hate the
people or the rest of the products. I actually adore everything else that I
have tried from Maybelline, Charlotte Tilbury and Zoella but I didn’t get on
well with these at all. I haven't sampled anything else from Eve Lom, Magic Cosmetics or Colab but I will try some of their other products to see how I get on with them. Let me know in the comments if you disagree with any of
my choices as I like to know how you got on with them too.

Blogger Annoyances | Email's
Do you receive
numerous emails a day asking you for all kinds of favours with either no information
or nothing in return? Well, I thought I would put together this blog post
highlighting the different things that annoy me as a blogger.
Don’t get me
wrong, I am always grateful for the opportunities I get from blogging and this
is in no way a rant about the problems of blogging, but I hate some of the
stuff that goes along with it. If you want me to promote something, give me an
indication as to what it is. If you want a shout out, tell me who you are, what
it is you want me to talk about and not to sound crass, but what am I getting
in return for it. I hate to do something for somebody and expect something in
return, its not my style. I do things for others because I want to help them in
any way I can but when it comes to blogging, you have to be a bit
ruthless.
If a company
want a blog post then you have to charge for your time. As I said in my Can You Trust Bloggers post, you have to take the time to set up equipment for
pictures, backgrounds, do a bit of research, write the post and promote it.
This is a lot of work and you should be paid for it. What are the company getting out of this blog post? The answer is free promotion!
On too many
occasions I have been asked to write a post for a company to promote whatever
they are flogging at that time and when I ask what I get out of it they always
say the same thing, "It’s not in the budget" or "we will put a link to your blog
on our website". If you can’t take into consideration the time and effort I put
into a blog post, then I’m sorry but the answer is no. If I haven’t
tried something, how the hell can I promote it? Anyway, here are my top
annoyances when it comes to emails.
1. "Can
We Write A Post For You"
Can you piss
off please?! This really gets on my tits. Please don’t email me asking me to
allow someone else to write a blog post for me, pay me an undisclosed sum of
money for the privilege and not even tell me what the post will be about? Why
in God’s name would I want someone else to write my blog posts for me? When I
ask for more details, they are always super secretive and will not budge. I
said yes to one to find out some more information, turns out she was promoting a
gambling website! Where on my blog do I talk about gambling? I happily declined
her offer. Just a quick disclaimer in here, I have never allowed anyone to
write a post for me unless it’s a guest post featuring some makeup looks, male
skincare or fashion. These are things that fit well with my blog and things I
do not personally talk about as I wouldn't know where to begin, so it’s great to help out fellow bloggers but as far as these
companies are concerned, I can’t be dealing with it.
2. Not Reading
Your Blog
"I love
the fashion posts on your blog" Erm, I don’t blog about fashion so it must
have been someone else’s blog you read. This really irks me. If you haven’t
taken the time to read my blog, don’t email me asking me to promote your
fashion accessories, clothes, shoes etc. as I do not blog about that.
3. Buy
Followers
I’m sure you
get this all the time if you are a blogger. I tend to ignore them when they
plaster all over my social media or email me. I have built my blog organically,
it may not be huge and I may not have the biggest social media following but I
enjoy blogging and don’t need to be hounded by these people. If you buy
followers, then I’m sorry but I don’t agree with that. Surely it is better to
start from the bottom and work your way up rather than have thousands of
followers you didn’t earn!
4. Free
Promotions
I have been
asked a lot if I can send tweets out to get people excited about a new launch i.e.
Drinks, Cocktail Ingredients, Smoking, Gambling, Giveaways, Fashion Accessories
and it would be appreciated! Ha-ha.
It would be
appreciated if you didn’t think my blog or social media platforms were a way
for you to promote your company when you haven’t even said hello or introduced
yourself. What a bloody cheek. I only promote products if I have bought it with
my own money and I really do love them. If I have been lucky enough to be
gifted with something, I will make it clear on my social media platforms that
someone sent it to me but I will only promote if I like it and it has worked
for me.
5. Generic
Emails
Please don’t
send me an email saying "Hello Blogger" or "Dear Blogger".
If you want a favour or want me to do something, then you bloody well better
know my name!
6. Non Emails
Ok, this is
random but I hate one sentence emails. Why is there only one sentence? What is
your angle here? Tell me what it is, don’t send me a link and say "You
will love this" or "This will be great for your blog". I’m
sorry, but I aint clicking on anything when it’s been emailed over and no-one
has the decency to say hello, give me an introduction to themselves and their
company and not told me what the link takes me too or what they are promoting.
If you don’t have time to write a proper email, I won’t have time to
"read" it.
7. Spam Mail
If I sign up for notifications, I dont want twenty a day. One per day or even three per week would be fab. I have unsubscribed and unfollowed bloggers in the past for this as it is so irritating.
7. Spam Mail
If I sign up for notifications, I dont want twenty a day. One per day or even three per week would be fab. I have unsubscribed and unfollowed bloggers in the past for this as it is so irritating.
I know this
seems a bit ranty but I hope you enjoyed it. These are the top seven issues when
it comes to emails and being a blogger. Again, I am not dissing the
professional companies out there who take the time to read your blog, make sure
you are a good fit for their product and them send over a legible email but if
you just want me to promote something I have never heard of, never used
or don’t agree with, then the answer will always be no. If you can think of
anymore, I would be happy to hear them.

Beauty Trend | Draping
Source
Hi guys,
It’s all about
the latest makeup trends today. We had contouring, non-touring, strobing and
now draping. Yes, I agree, it is a silly name. Draping is all about adding
depth to your face by sculpting with colour rather than our normal bronzer shades.
I don’t know about you but I instantly thought of 80s makeup where they have
lashings of blusher heading all the way up to their temples. I adored this
makeup look. In the 80s! But I wouldn’t dare try it nowadays. Especially not
with the vibrant pinks and purples they were rocking back in the day. Thankfully,
this trend is a mellowed out version of that extreme look and involves some
pretty subtle blushers.
Marc Jacobs
has commanded us all to drop the contour and start draping and normally if
someone as great as Marc tells me I need to do something, I tend to listen.
Yes, I am easily persuaded and I always fall for the latest makeup trend. Way
Bandy, celebrity makeup artist to Cher and Elizabeth Taylor, and author of Designing Your Face first introduced the
world to this trend back in the 80s and now it has made a comeback. He stated that he wanted to bring out the natural drape of the face by using this technique also known as Colour Glow.
The way to do this is by simply using a deeper
shade of blush and applying just below the cheekbones, think contouring but not as harsh. You then start blending two blusher shades
together and placing on the higher parts of your cheekbones and blending
horizontally toward the temple. Blending is key for this
look and no bright colours for day time, unless that’s the look you are going
for. I prefer it to look understated. Add a pop of colour to the apples of
your cheeks and you are good to go.
Draping can be
amazing for a creative makeup looks, editorial pieces and for those of us who
are brave enough to add brighter shades to our cheeks. If you are doing an
editorial look, then apply the deeper shades of blusher to the jawline, hollows
of the cheeks and side of the neck.
I used the
Gwen Stefani Blush Palette by taking the shade OC to deepen my cheeks and then adding Hush over this to create a more highlighted version of draping. I liked
it but didn’t love it. I am going to play around with this makeup look but at the moment, I prefer a contour, blusher and highlight combo or just
a highlighted face so sadly, this is not my favourite makeup trend.
Would you try Draping?
Is this just another trend that will quickly fade?

Favourite Male Bloggers
*Background Picture
Hi
guys,
Well its my little sisters birthday today and a bunch of us went out last night to a country and western bar. Not my first choice, actually I don't even think it would have been my 2nd or 3rd choice but do you know what, it was a fantastic night and my sister had the time of her life which is all that matters. The club was packed and I honestly thought it was going to be filled with the older generation but it was rammed with mostly under 40's which was a shock. They had real life shoot outs, obviously the audience were protected and they had an amazing band on who didn't stick to the norm, they ventured outside of that and hit us up with some real classics that even I knew ha-ha. I can only imagine the headaches today though but as I was the designated driver, I didn't have any alcohol and my head has thanked me today. Yay for me ha-ha.
Anyway, enough about me. This is a
follow up to yesterdays, Favourite Bloggers, post which featured some fantastic
ladies but as I love a lot of the equally fantastic male bloggers/vloggers out there, I thought it was only fair to have a stand alone post for them.
I don’t
understand the big deal with men talking about or wearing makeup as it should
be genderless. Its art essentially. If you want to wear makeup or have a pamper session or just
apply some skincare products to help out with problematic skin then who the
hell says you can’t! I see a lot of hate on twitter especially for the younger
age group including the very talented James who is so incredible when it comes to not only makeup but important issues. I find it very sad that
in this day and age it’s still seen as something to snigger at or heckle abuse at.
It’s not on really! It isn't just makeup that I follow these bloggers for, I trust their judgement when it comes to buying gifts for the amazing men in my life as they open your eyes to whats out there that woman might not necessarily know. Its the same for men, if you dont know what to buy those ladies in your life then head over to a few blogs or listen to those not so subtle hints shes been dropping ha-ha.
I love all
of these male bloggers simply because they are uber talented and know their stuff.
If I am looking for a beauty related present for Liam including aftershaves,
grooming products etc. then I head over to most of these guys to find out what’s
good. A lot of them I watch simply because I
personally take makeup tips from as they always look flawless. Honestly, I
could watch Marc & Jeffree for hours and hours and still never perfect my
makeup like they do. They are truly talented. But without further ado, here are
my top male bloggers/vloggers.
A fellow
Scot and an incredible makeup artist. I know a lot of folk just say they are a
MUA but Marc really is and he is so talented. I had the pleasure of watching
him work live when I attended a LancĂ´me event at House of Fraser last year and
his skills were on point! Such a gentleman and his skills are out of this world.
I have
followed Jake since the beginning and he is honestly such a gorgeous man. He is
the sweetest person ever and the work he has created is amazing. He is an
advocate for #MakeupIsGenderless and is reaching the world with his voice which
I find incredible. Keep an eye out for him as I’m sure he will be a household
name one day.
People may
find him a bit much but I love him! He is flat out honest, he works incredibly
hard and he isn’t afraid of shouting his accomplishments from the rooftops. Plus,
if you didn't already know, he is the creator of the best liquid lipsticks on
the planet. Check them out here. However, they are always sold out so if you want to buy them, keep an eye on his IG or Twitter as he is great at keeping his followers updated.
I adore Tom’s
honesty and detailed blogposts. He recently called out the male grooming
industry after receiving an aftershave that was in the shape of a bullet. I
loved every word of it as it was true. Obviously I don’t buy male products for
myself other than the Nivea Post Shave Balm but this marketing ploy and the
design of the packaging when there is so much suffering in the world due to guns, was a real
eye opener. Also, if you love looking at excellent product photos, head over to
his blog immediately!
Cj is a new
follow for me as I recently found him on a recent #30PlusBlogs chat and
completely agreed with his views on certain topics. This then lead me to his
blog which is amazing. He doesn't just talk beauty, he covers a wide range of
topics that will appeal to everyone.
I have
followed for Wayne on YouTube for years and he is still one of my favourites. I
have started to view his videos first when I go to my subscriptions as he is
funny, charismatic, honest and talented. Wayne, is a real makeup artist ha-ha,
not a fake one who just says he is. He actually trained and has worked in the
industry for a long time so when he gives you tips on how to perfect something,
you better listen.
I am sure
you have read Peters guest post here on Beauty Talk with Lauren but I urge you
to follow him on twitter as he guest posts on a lot of blogs and covers a wide
range of topics. I trust his tips for dressing as he knows the upcoming trends
and is always on point. A true fashion genius.
Love, Love,
Love this blog! It covers so many topics and has helped me out when I have been
stuck for presents numerous times. I swear, Stephen is such an enabler. I find
myself buying products he raves about and stashing them away until a
celebration comes round and then I start dishing them out like candy. A perfect
example of an interesting blog that covers a wide range of topics.
That’s all I
got today guys, I hope you check them out as they are so talented it makes me want
to cry. I find myself heading over to their blogs/channels more and more as I
really trust what they have to say when it comes to certain products. Truly
talented gentlemen.
If you want
me to do a "Favourite Male Instagrammers" then let me know in the
comments as I would be all over that like a fly on shit. I am seriously in awe
at some of the guy’s talent on Instagram. They have really upped their game haven’t
they? My IG feed is filled with the most incredible makeup looks I have ever
seen and it’s mostly men now as they are just so talented. Clearly, they arent an everyday look for me or for most people ha-ha but if you want to try their looks out or just stare at their beautiful faces then I can arrange for you to see my favourites.
Who are your favourites?
