Hi guys
Well it’s another week so it’s another
most loved post. As you can see from all the beautiful animals above, I have
obviously been to Blair Drummond Safari Park. I loved it! Both Liam and I
had never been, although like most places in my life, my Mum will probably say
she took me when I was two, I obviously don’t remember and I wanted to see what
all the fuss was about.
I don’t know why but I always thought it
was far away from Glasgow but it was only a 45 minute drive. Plus, it’s not
that expensive, I mean £14 seems a lot but when you get in and see all the
amazing animals and get to chill out at the barbecue spots with the sun beating
down, it’s not all bad. I obviously didn’t take any kids with me and I forgot
to check the price for them but I think they do a cheaper family ticket which
can be sourced online. There is also a huge park for the kids to play in and
some very expensive places to eat so I would recommend packing up some food for
a bbq pit or a picnic and bring drinks with you as the queues are horrendous
and so are the prices.
When we first arrived, we wanted to do
the drive through Safari where we saw the beautiful Elephants, Lions, Camels, Fawns
and Giraffes. This was incredible. I loved that everyone took their time
driving through to see these beauties just chilling out. We then took the boat
safari over to Chimp Island which was phenomenal. Some of the monkeys were so
cheeky and some were very moody ha-ha, it was great.
Obviously there is walk through trails
too, the park and bbq spots so for the entry fee, it’s pretty impressive. I
would whole heartedly recommend this for a great day out for you and your
family.
I
do have to say that this isn’t a sponsored post and I did not get free
admission to talk about the park, I actually went along for a day out with Liam
and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. If you go, you will see what I am talking
about.
